On November 2nd, Spain's national team defeated Belarus 13-2. Spain is the 2007 FINA runner-up, so they are a formidable challenge for any team. During this game ( on Spanish home court) they started out very slowly. In which Spain only had a 1 goal lead against Belarus in the 2nd quarter of the match. Then in the last 2 quarter Spain rocketed 10 unanswered goals in, ending the game 13-2. During this game the MVP Guilermo Molina was able to score 5 goals, which is a very big number in this high level of gameplay.
Overall, Spain had a very good start to their Championship Qualification Matches showing all the other teams out there, that they are a strong opposition.
